About this scraper

Trying to get the DoD's contract awards into some usable form. Using http://www.defense.gov/contracts/, though, is tough going. It's messy, and they've changed the HTML for it many times over the years. I'm taking a stab at it, though.

Known issues

  • Wonkiness related to the dismal display of data on the DoD website. This includes inexplicably missing pages, typos that screw up the massively hacky string manipulation, etc. I can only try to mitigate this the best I can.
